Get this in your brain: perfection does NOT exist.
When one thinks they’re perfect, they’re just in an illusion. Because they can be better.
The problem we have today is most people want to be perfect at what they do.
“I am a perfectionist.”
“I want everything perfect.”
And because of that thought-process, they delay making progress.
They are getting ready to….get ready.
“Tomorrow.”
“Next week.”
“Next month.”
They delay decisions.
They delay presentations.
They delay their next level success.
It’s good to have a high standard for your performance. However, it doesn’t serve anyone if you use perfection as an excuse for staying stuck.
Even DURING presentations...if you have the deep desire for perfection, you will be INSIDE your head instead of in your AUDIENCE’S HEART.
Makes sense?
If you want to connect, engage & impact, STOP thinking about being perfect.
Rather: connect and be valuable.
Remember, when you’re inside your head, your connection will be dead.
Be present. Connect. Add value.
THAT is when people RESPECT YOU.
